LADIES NETBALL

Please download the nomination form, or complete one in the centre and return to the front counter at the Palmerston Recreation Centre.

FAQ's.....

What time are games played?

All netball games run for 4 x 10min quarters, 1min quarter time, 2min half time.
Game times are as follows:
- 6:30pm x 2 courts
- 7:15pm x 2 courts

Scheduled game times allow for 5 minutes changeover period in between games. Please ensure your team arrives 10 minutes prior to scheduled game time to complete scoresheet, game payments, umpire checks etc. The games must start at the allocated start time.

How much does it cost?

Teams pay a nomination fee of $70 before the beginning of each new season (there are two seasons per year) . Game fees are $70 per team per game, payable before the start of that team's scheduled game time. Bibs can be hired for $3.20 per set. Please note that as from 30/07/2014, the game fee will go to $70.

Forfeit fees are $70 payable the following week prior to scheduled game time.

What is the dress code?

Preferably teams should wear the same colour shirts and shorts (or close enough to). Should the two teams playing each other have the same coloured bibs, one team will have to change bibs. All players MUST wear fully enclosed sport shoes at all times when in the stadium and abide by the PRC Social Sports Rules.

What other responsibilities exist?

Teams must nominate a scorer for each game they are scheduled for. If there is no scorer a penalty of 5 points will apply.

Teams should notify the Palmerston Recreation Centre as early as possible if requiring additional players for their fixture or if they need to forfeit. The forfeit fee is $70 per forfeit.

Respect must be upheld for team members, opponents and umpires at all times. Any bad language, bullying or victimisation will lead to team elimination.
