The most popular social sport at the Palmerston Recreation Centre! The Dry Season Competition is about to begin and it is bound to be full of excitement and energy. Individual and team nominations are welcome throughout the season. Download the nomination form and return to the Palmerston Recreation Centre if you would like to put your name on the list to join an existing team.
FAQ's.....
What time are games played?
All netball games run for 4 x 10min quarters, 1min quarter time, 2min half time.
Game times are as follows:
- 6:15pm x 2 courts
- 7:05pm x 2 courts
- 7:55pm x 2 courts
Scheduled game times allow for 5 minutes changeover period in between games. Please ensure your team arrives 10 minutes prior to scheduled game time to complete scoresheet, game payments, umpire checks etc.
How much does it cost?
New teams pay a nomination fee of $61.40 at the beginning of the season. This fee will carry on each season the team plays in the social competition.
Game fees are $61.40 per team per game, payable before the start of that team's scheduled game time. Bibs can be hired for $3.10 per set.
Forfeit fees are $60 payable the following week prior to scheduled game time.
What is the dress code?
Preferably teams should wear the same colour shirts and shorts (or close enough to). Should the two teams playing each other have the same coloured bibs, one team will have to change bibs. All players MUST wear fully enclosed sport shoes at all times when in the stadium and abide by the PRC Social Sports Rules.
